KABUL, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- A three-day exhibition of Afghan local products kicked off in Helmand province, southern Afghanistan, aiming to generate market opportunities for domestically produced goods, the country's Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced on Sunday.
Entrepreneurs from Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Kandahar, and Paktika are displaying a wide range of Afghan products, including agricultural goods, textiles, food items, and construction materials, at dozens of booths throughout the exhibition, according to the ministry's statement.
The exhibition is part of a broader Afghan government strategy to strengthen its industries. Similar fairs have been organized across the country to highlight Afghan craftsmanship and entrepreneurial potential. ■
