HANOI, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- A collision between a tractor and a motorbike in Vietnam's central city of Hue left two children, aged nine and seven, dead, the Vietnam News Agency reported Tuesday.

The crash occurred on the night of Feb. 2 when the tractor hauling timber struck the motorbike, which was carrying an adult and the two children, said the report, citing the local authority.

The children later died at the hospital and the cause of the accident is under investigation. ■
